Found something weird: When I do the KIU cart freeze thing and eject the SD card, nothing changes at all, it registers that the SD card gets ejected but it still freezes anyway. You sure this means nothing?

So, you can confirm this freeze works? It wasn't just a one off?

It wasn't a one off, but that is irrelevant. It is not exploitable. It seems this guy refuses to accept that though so I won't keep telling him.

Sorry to crush this, but this won't really help the real hackers (neim0d, TT and such) as they know already about all those crashes and even more.

Also, 99% of those crashes are not useful in exploiting the system. The times of the TIFF exploits are long gone, and systems are a lot more secure than back then (sandboxes and stuff), and it'll take something more than a freeze, right now.

I'm closing this only because it's redundant with the hacking theories thread. As those freezes are nothing more than theories.

Anyway, I'm not even sure that real hackers lurk on GBAtemp searching for exploits (most devs don't come here). Sooo, feel free to submit them to 3dsbrew.org (IF they accept submissions).
