Check if you have this same path

SD :\apps\genplusgx\boot.dol
USB :\apps\genplusgx\boot.dol
Goddammit! no...
Why do these emu guys keep doing the same shit over and over? changing the naming of the folders from default -.-
In any case thanks... I guess I'll have to rename the folder.
I feel like such an ass now:shy:

You can use the Close2Insanity's version of SDLMAME forwarder for the Wii, it will also install into the vWii with no issues (yeah I know, I was scared too, but I was told it would work and it does)

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please provide a step-by-step guide on how to install the forwarding channel for USBloader-gx

I've downloaded:-

USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT_vWii (Fix).wad

And have tried to install it using multi mod manager but the installation fails and doesn't install

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance

I wish if you could re-upload all these forwarders (even if all in one file) to any other uploading site like mega or mediafire other than the current one because it's blocked in my country for some reason! ! And even if I used vpn it's still impossible :(

Especially :WiiXplorer and the emulators

sorry that nobody replied to you yet.

1. download the wad you want to install, and (common usage) copy the wad file (not zip or rar) to sd:/wad/ folder
2. download a wad manager, best choice is this one, extract it to your SD card in usual homebrew location (sd:/apps/folder name you want/boot.dol and meta.xml here)

on wii, launch the wad manager.
If you have the choice to use AHB or reload to cIOS, use AHB. (I never used that homebrew, so I don't know which options it's providing to users, but don't use cIOS)
select the option to manage WAD and select the wad you want, then select install (or uninstall to reverse remove it from your console)
That manager has maybe a batch install option, input options are certainly written on screen.

Edit:
Oh, and I forgot, the forwarder doesn't have the homebrew inside the channel.
You need the actual homebrew executable on your SD or USB.
the path to where the forwarder is "forwarding to" is usually provided.

for example, usbloaderGX forwarder expect the homebrew to be located in sd:/apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol

Do any of these work for someone on vwii sneek/sneek2o?
I tried wiiflow(kernel panic), usb loader gx (boot back to menu), homebrew filter (other thread but also boot to menu) and CFG USBLoader (black screen).
They do work on real vwii nand though.
