I've been using atmosphere on my sysnand, I wanted to play online so I created a emunand (Switch version 8.1, Atmosphere version 0.9.3), formatted my sysnand and updated it to the latest version. When I launch emunand, it gives me blue screen atmosphere error after the Nintendo Switch logo, error code 2002-2634 (0x149402), and I reboot to Hekate. The SD works fine, it's FAT32. EDIT: My Switch is not patched.

If I'm missing anything, please ask.

Isn't that the game card reader firmware error? I think it means you updated the firmware through sysnand but your emunand is using an old os version and therefore cannot use the reader. Take the game out of the reader and try to boot. If this is the issue, you need to update the emunand to a later version or not use a cart with it.

I just tested it and this is it. It's very weird, I hadn't even think about that, or read it anywhere. Is it normal? I thought there'd be no problem If I updated the sysnand, how do I do it, then?

Thanks for letting me know!

Yes, it is normal. They updated the game cart reader firmware recently, so older OS versions can’t use the reader (as far as I understand). So, when you updated sysnand, the firmware was updated and now your emunand with an older OS can’t use the reader. You need to update the emunand to a compatible version to use the reader. Make sure to research whether your CFW is compatible with whatever OS version you use want to use on emunand before you attempt to update. Also, read a guide on how to use ChoiDujourNX to perform the update.

Alright, thank you so much!
