Hardware formatted sd card to ext4 with gparted.... cant write anything.

when i try to format my 128gb sd card in to ext4 it doesnt allow anything to be created on it.. the Linux OS says it cant be written on it or something on those lines...

its fine in fat32 format..


what am i doing wrong?

I don't know about ext4 SD cards but sometimes, storage devices from certain manufacturers can't be formatted in every way.

I had an old external HDD that could be formatted only as FAT32 and not NTFS. Maybe you could try formating an ext4 SD card from a different manufacturer to see if the problem persists.
