I wanted to clear the save data but I didn't want to have to reinstall homebrew and everything

It will remove all addon channels, including HBC, wiiware/vc , etc.

thanks I went ahead and formatted and remodded just didn't want to have to do it tonight lol now the only issue I have is using savegame manager to store the game saves i wanted to keep but I get a error 106 any chance someone knows how to fix that one

You need to play the game first, then copy the save back to the wii.

ok thanks didn't know it had to already have a save game in the wii

Be aware that your "Wii Number" or "massage board number" will be different than before now.
Also all contacts and messages will be gone.
