Hacking Format wii system memory...

Ok, my wii is pretty screwed right now, and lots of games freeze, whatever. I tried USB loader, it doesnt work. I'm about to format my wii's memory, but will it make my wii a complete virgin? will it remove all dlc i've purchased? Please help!

Move your stuff to your SD card(assuming you have one) before you format it.

I have an SD, but are you talking about saves? Just answer my questions, please!
I want to know if it will make my wii virgin just to format it from the settings menu. I know this will remove my saves, and I don't care. I only care about my dlc and whether or not I will have to repurchase it.

but make a backup with bootmii first! (install it as boot2)

you can backup your saves, i don't know for dlc. but if you format your wii you'll have probably the same issues. scroll down a bit and read Wiipower's post!

as long as you dont unlink your accout your safe to do a format, i done it many times and still had all my content from the shop ready to be downloaded

It shouldn't charge you for stuff you've already downloaded.

Remove your load of preloader-like crap before formatting.

I really don't think formatting will help anything regardless. It almost never does.

All formatting does is it deletes your save files and channels. You can still download your legally bought channels off of the Wii Shop Channel anyway. I really don't think formatting can help any problems with your Wii.
