Hacking format sysnand quick question

Hi,

I own a 2Ds with sysnan9.20
Currently its bugging me to install the update because its already downloaded.

If i format my sysnand will it update the console or not?
Because yesterday i went to format it but it asked to switch the wifi on and to connect to a wireless network to check if formatting was possible. At that moment i stopped because i was too afraid.

Sorry if this is already answered, i started googling but answers were unclear to me.

Ok everything wt well,now i want to enter my nnid in the e shop but it wont let me because it needs the systemupdate...how to enter my nnid?

I formatted my sysnand 9.2 on 3ds and it did not update.
