Hacking Format switch lite with SX OS

Hi. I want to format my switch lite with sx lite installed, using the switch official menu for formatting. If i do this on cfw or ofw is there any difference? Any potential dangers? I have another sd card ready with all the files eg emunand, boot.dat etc., so i dont mind if everything is gonna be erased. I know i can restore sysnand but this will take some time. Thanks.

I haven't done it on ofw, but in cfw it simply won't work. It will crash and reboot. At least on the older 10.1 and 3.0.4 fw. Haven't tested on 10.2.0 and 3.0.5.

Also it should work and be just fine on ofw. If for some reason it doesn't work, boot using the genuine boot option in the bootloader. But it should work just fine on ofw using the regular boot option in the bootloader.

Yeap, i confirm on 10.1.0 and sx os 3.0.5 it crashes. On ofw it will do the normal procedure, even though it didn't delete my sd card, only the switch settings, user data etc. I tried it today myself. Thanks anyway for your answer.
