Hacking Question Format SD CARD in Win10, and then Switch? Why?

What difference does it make if you Quick Format the sd card for use with SX OS with the exFAT FS in Windows 10, then format the sd card again in the Switch before using it?

Isn't formatting in Windows 10 sufficient?

What has everyone else done?

I dont see the need to format it again when you have formatted it in exFAT on Windows 10.

When the switch formats the sd card for the first time, it also copies some essential switch files to it. Unless you've already done this before, then you can format on PC and copy/transfer back the files onto the new SD card.
