Hacking Folder for .nand backups?

What folders do i need to have to put my nand backup in?
Is it inside the bootmii folder?

Nand.bin and keys.bin stay in the root of the SD card. It doesn't go in a folder.

Yes. Use POWER to change selections and RESET to select one.

Yes. Use POWER to change selections and RESET to select one.

Im aware of that but i cannot restore without a gc remote

Why not? Press POWER until you are at the gear icon, press RESET, POWER again to go to RestoreMii, and RESET to enter Restore mode. Follow the instructions on the screen to start the restore process.
