The DS LIte and R4 card has finally arrived. Huzzah. Only took an extra fortnight. It's accepted my microSD card I loaded up with games well in advance and everything seems to be working so far, but I've noticed an odd glitch. While playing Castlevania Portrait Of Ruin (the European ROM file), the top edge of the touch screen seems to flicker for some reason. This doesn't happen when I play Kirby Superstar Ultra so I don't think it's an issue with the system, which leaves a firmware problem or a ROM problem.
I'm using the latest version of Wood R4 I could get my hands on, 1.62. As far as I can tell it's a proper R4 card and not a clone. Is this a problem with the firmware, the ROM file, or is it just a glitch that exists in the game that I'll just have to tolerate? It's not a major bother, I'd just rather make sure it's nothing serious before I leave feedback on eBay. Thoughts?
