I have a little NAS box on 24/7 running Debian sat next to the Wii.

I'd love to get flatmii for obvious reasons and using it with my NAS would be ideal. Has anyone heard of anyone working on getting flatmii working under linux?

Has anyone plugged flatmii into a linux box and seen if it's recognised as a device?

Try using wine to install the drivers and program, it might work

Thanks for the response, but:

a) I don't have flatmii (yet maybe) hence the question about it.

b) I really don't want to be running wine on a headless box

I too would like this, but I guess we'll have to wait for either the flatmii crew to sort it out or for someone to reverse engineer it.

You can't "install" drivers using wine.

There is no way to use FlatMii on linux without Flatmii drivers for linux.

Actually, it is possible to run some userspace (not kernel mode) USB drivers through wine provided they are NT (XP is NT 5.1) based drivers. That (limited) driver support is designed mainly for iPod support in iTunes, but it sometimes works for other devices.
