Hey there. So today in subway I noticed that info LED on my N3DSXL (luma + b9s) started to rapidly blink. After minut or so, it stays constantly on (even when lid is closed). Does anybodey know why is it happening? Thanks for your answers

Wow. Does the 3DS cease to work after this or is it just that the blue light never goes off?
It just flashes, not turning on... i can't recall but someone here said something about sd card being corrupted? @Quantumcat care to bless us with your presence

It was like second power led (only when I close the lid, it didnt fade out but stayed sollid) Nothing helped. Only after sysnand backup via hourglass9 it stopped. Don't know why or how.

UPDATE!!
Now its flashing red XD

The way it's flashing irregularly makes it seem like something is shorted.
Not sure how the LED is attached to the motherboard, the iFixit teardown wasn't really helpful, but maybe the notification LED is on a separate board attached by a ribbon cable, the ribbon cables are very flimsy so that could certainly explain it. If it's soldered directly onto the mainboard, then I'm not sure how this could have happened if the 3DS was never opened, short of the MCU being faulty.
