Hacking Flashed or Unflashed?

So I've just upgraded from an old Supercard CF to a shiny new R4DS. My DS phat is currently flashed to allow use of the Supercard but I'm wondering now if I'm better off putting the original firmware back on now I have the R4. Will replacing the original firmware give me any better or worse compatability with download play? If it makes no difference I'll keep it flashed just to have rid of the Health warning nag screen.

Download play works best when the Receiving DS is flashed. The sending DS doesn't really matter. There is no reason to unflash your DS now, unless you are having booting issues. It certainly won't help with download play.
