Flashchecker says: this is broken

    Just got 2 from DX from yet another different batch.

    Message on DSTT Flash Checker 0.01 is:

    " unknown device : FF90C11F
    This is broken. (TT) "

    Work OK with 1.17 with the fake killer removed.

    Really difficult to open, bottom 2 lugs snapped off, inside looks OK, rounded slot etc.

    Another batch of fakes or just a different chip that Flashchecker doesn't recognise?

    I believe that "unknown device" means that it doesn't recognize the chip.

    Yeah I've seen "unknown device" before but with "good" not "this is broken"

    It might be just a new version of the card, that the Flash Checker doesn't recognize.

    Yeah I think it is as now the DSTT site is back up I have confirmed it looks identical inside to the "new" cards on sale.
