Hi all,

I am new to this and just wondering which is the best alrounder flash cart, would you recommend wood firmware and a compatible flash cart or a good all round card with no wood ?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks Paul

If you only want to play ROMs and don't mind a 2Gb storage limit then a R4 1:1 clone and Wood R4 are perfect.

If you want the same but with a higher storage capacity (SDHC) then go for an AceKard2i with AKAIO.

If you want a top-of-the-range card with all the fancy whistle and bells go for the Supercard DSTwo.

Just to make it a bit harder to decide there's also the EZ-flash Vi. I'm pretty sure it has the same features as the Acekard2i but with a bit different menu and in-game guides and realtime-saving. I'm not 100% sure about the compatibility though. But it seems like it can play most games and the team updates their official firmware.

I would say the features and pricetag of the EZ Vi comes in between the acekard and the DStwo.

I've been selling carts since release and recommend -

M3i Zero... or M3 REAL for DS/DS lite
SC DSTwo
EZ Flash Vi
Acekard2i

others like iEDGE...or even iTouch for DS/DS lite...all great.
R4 original ok...if 2gb memory limit is ok.... and so cheap now
