so I just bought to this flashdrive, and I have the bright idea to actually boot linux in it to install ubuntu on my old netbok ,later on I found out that instead of being installed to the netbook HDD it is installed to the flashdisk , I managed to format the flash, however now my main computer can't read it for some odd reason (the flash disk is greyed out), I tried it in three other computer (all in windows) and all of them can read it fine , what is wrong with my flash drive and how can I fix it?

Since you formatted the flash drive, what filesystem is it?

FAT32 is best, NTFS could work too, but other Operating Systems won't read an ext2/3/4, btrfs, or F2FS drive.
