I'm getting a DS soon, but I don't want to have to carry around a fistful of DS games with me everywhere, so...

I have a PowerPC Mac and (without using Virtual PC) is there a way to buy one of these flash cards and load all of my games onto it? I don't need to run illegal ROMs (I plan on buying all the games I want), but basically just want a solution to put multiple games (DS and also GBA if that is possible) on a single flash card.

Obviously I'm new to this whole scene, but is this possible??

Thanks!

i've got the M3 Simply... works just fine using just drag and drop on the mac os x... there's even a DLDI patcher (command line and/or dock app) available for mac for those homebrew's that need DLDI patching.

And both of these will let me play DS AND GBA games? Also, are there any homebrew emulators written for other systems?

Thanks for all the help.

No.

There is NO DS flash card that will allow you to play GBA games -- this is because the DS carts do not have the ram chips required for playing GBA games. If you'd like to play GBA games, get a GBA flash card

Or get a Slot 1 flash card and something like the EZ-Flash 3-in-1 expansion card --it's cheap and you can play GBA games with it.

Is the 3 in 1 also drag and drop? And the RAM feature in the 3 in 1 would let me use the DS browser, right?

EDIT: Also, is $40+ship (R4) and $22+ship (3in1) average pricing?

More questions-- yay!

Will I be able to patch things with OSX? If so, what app do I use?

Thanks again everyone.

What do you need to patch? A homebrew file? If so, use DLDIDrop for Mac OS X.

For GBA games, you'll need to patch with the EZ Client for the EZ-Flash 3 in 1 -- it's Windoze only unfortunately
