Flash Card (OSs)

    I guess its an OS, the thing downloaded to make the flash carts.

    The question is, can one work on another?
    Would would happen if I did?

    Example: I buy and edge card and put the download for ez flash on it.... [​IMG]

    Also, where can I learn about how all this works, such as coding and how one thing runs and this and that? I am interested in learning about computer stuff.

    Flashcart firmware is usually encrypted for that particular cart. Also, it's usually designed to work on that cart's hardware, which is why, say, the DSTT firmware runs on some R4 clones.

    So I guess that means it doesn't work, it wouldn't like burn it out or something, just not work...

    Sorry, I don't know. Where can I learn about all the specs about software and what not?

    You shouldn't really. An application shouldn't do damage unless its a bricker.
