Flash Avatars

People at this board seem to love their Flash.

I've been to a couple other message boards that allow flash in avatars. I think the members would really appreciate it if .swf was an accepted file for avatars. This is somewhat of a request... but I intend it to be more of a suggestion.

The people who are into flash here are all smart enough not to do anything mallicious (play musicautomatically, spawn pop-ups), and there are top-notch mods. I think it would do far more good than potential bad.

Then again, they're already allowed as signatures, so why not avatars? My sig used to be an avatar on another site.

So... flash avatars, please?

GBAtemp used to have flash avatars (I had a pong one), then they disabled it, I forget why.
