Gaming Flac converter?

Can anyone recommend a good program for converting Flac audio files to something compatible with iTunes so I can play some songs on my iPod.

Try Winamp.

Assuming you are on a Windows machine, grab the decoder here. That will decode your (lossless) FLAC files to WAV. After that, you can either use them as is (I believe IPods support WAV files natively), or you can use something like RazorLame (a LAME frontend, you'll still need to grab the LAME as well) to convert them to (lossy) mp3 files which will be usable on your IPod.

If you are on a Mac, you can grab MacFLAC and decode your files to WAV with that. Then encode them using the encoder of your choice (preferably something LAME based).

iTunes re-encodes .wav files to ACC/Mp4 in the program, however it doesn't actually physically convert the files to that codec, it just plays them in those formats in the program or it converts them you put them on the iPod.
