Hacking first time R4 user

i bought a dsi xl the other day and then ordered the 1.4 compatible r4i card with a 4gb micro sd. do i need to install any particular software on the sd card other than the files on the r4 website to run ds roms?

well as long as u get the one shown in the pic and its a legit one u should be fine
