Cool, that's what I was doing, just checking. But where do I choose what pops to use. Sorry about all this.
Well, it really depends what game. If you have a fully icon customized eboot (animated icons, background, load screen etc.) most games work on 5.00 popsloader and prolly 6.00 popsloader when Magixien releases it. For a quick conversion, refer to here.

@I2aven's_Sage A torrent is a P2P protocol that is used for sending data back and forth. What does that have to do with anything?

Actually i'd rather avoid Rydian's ranting. Please read this.

OK everyone I think I've finally got it, managed to get the pops list up but haven't managed to get single game to work yet. Checked the link above for what pops I should use but nothing.
Oh well guess I'll have trial and error it.

QUOTE(fgghjjkll @ Apr 25 2010, 05:44 AM) A torrent is a different method of downloading, you need a torrent client (like [x] or [y]) first, and you usually need to forward a port in your router, but then you can download a lot more stuff a lot faster than normal.

That works.

It's just sometimes they've been mdf/mds or even had .bin then I've used PowerISO to convert them to ISO then used PSX2PSP to turn them to BOOT, is this to much, should I make sure that they're ISO's to begin with.

Edit - Might be where I was getting the ISO's, just tried a different Silent Hill and it worked perfectly. So thanks again for everyone's input in helping a PSP noob.

Heh. Everyone starts off as a noob. Even Dark_AleX had to reverse engineer the psp before he could learn anything!

Take your time. You'll eventually "integrate" yourself into the scene.

I'm fully aware of what a torrent is

I was just choosing to be very subtle about it, so perhaps I should have phrased my sentence as, "What is, a torrent." There are several sites where you can find good patched releases via torrents or file hosts such as megaupload or rapidshare. In my experience, I can think of two that have provided good "releases." KissOfDeath and KlowN are two notable uploaders in the PSP underground.

If anything said within this post goes against the forum TOS, please let me know so I can edit it.

Sincerely,
i2aven.

Ok, just wanted to let everyone know that I've got it completely sorted now, I think just about all the PS1 games I've tried have worked.
So a great big thanks to all of you that showed me patience and helped.
