First Pay-To-Play game FFCC

I don't mind paying for DLC - just not at 100-300 wii points per d/l

The VC games are already a rip-off if you consider the amount in pounds/dollars, not to mention the Eur releases have been lacklustre. We'd be lucky to get two games a week.

Anyway I digress..... we'll have to wait and see how it all gels together.

Do you have to buy the main game also?

Sceptical as ever

If Pay-to-Play is just for stuff like DLC, instead of actually playing online, that's cool with me. 50p for extra content doesn't sound so bad, provided it's a fair amount and they don't abuse DLC.

I hope they have $5 hoarse ahrmuh!
Fixed!

... and $5 houses...

All this is on top of the 1500 Wii Points needed for the main game.

It's this type of stuff that keeps me from MMORPGs (but even if they were free, I never really have been interested in them).

Yeah, 100 yen is equal to 99 cents in the US, or 50p in the UK.

But they'll probably make it a $1 in America and £1 in England =P So unfair T_T

Sad, but true.

We get shafted, in the UK, by all the online content pedlars ... Live Marketplace, PlayStation Store, iTunes ... so why should Nintendo WiiWare be any different?

First DLC stuff was released today (not a joke):

- 3 New character races: Yuke, Lilty and Selkie. Each costs 300 Wii points, or you can get all 3 together for 800 points
- New buildings costing 200 Wii points each
- New clothes costing 100 Wii points each

All the DLC is bought inside the game, you don't use the Wii Shopping Channel for this.
