Hacking firmware

so im using a supercard (lite) and superkey firmware 1.83 works nice

my friend has the same cards, and using 1.84, plays ds games like garbage

can I give him 1.83, or i read something about having to start from 1.7

I doubt it's the firmware, but yeah, you can downgrade the firmware if you run a *.bin file. Just make sure it's the right version for his specific Supercard.

However, it would probably be better to try to figure out what's actually causing games to slow down. Is he using the latest patcher? It could also be slow microSD card speed. Put your microSD card in his Supercard and see if there's a difference. This will help you determine whether it's the Supercard or the microSD card.

his micro sd card is different then mine i have a 2 gig sandisk, he has a 1 gig, not sure the brand.

You will have to downgrade to 1.8, then upgrade version by version from there. I think 1.8 is a *.bin release, if it isn't just follow this process but from the most recent *.bin release.

1.80 was only a .scu update. No clue what 1.83 was. You may want to downgrade to 1.7 and then upgrade to 1.83.

Swap sd cards, then play. Does yours now play like garbage and his good?

Ok so i updated my supercard to 1.84

anyway his micro sd card does not work in mine or his but mine does

both sandisk, only diff is one is 1 gig, mine is 2 gig

also he transfered his data form an apple computer i use, Pc's thou the micro sd card is formatted for fat as well as mine

so im thinking of formatting his micro sd card and reloading the games

any other suggestions
