I am currently using the original R4 with YSMenu + DSision2 combo. While this has worked well enough, I prefer the original R4 firmware, just not it's ability to play games. Is there anything newer firmware I could use to run newer games?

Just download the unnofficial TTi 1.17A02 firmware... then replace the TTMENU folder.. and then you got unnoficial updates
(fixes on like.. 30 games..?)
Theres also the moonshell + ysmenu combo...
