I have just gotten the Cyclo and realized that it is a very unsupported unit. I didn't know the M3 was tops, and had no idea the firmware/patcher was never upgraded. Is there some way to make the most of it? I hear the build for the Supercard is similar, is it similar enough to flash a cycloDS micro with a super card micro firmware?

Is there some 3rd party patcher too? Neither groups patcher works properly and keeps giving me an "open file error" or something. It's really annoying. I've seen other patchers, but they don't prepare the save ROM or rename it to dsq. Mac Os X preferred.

The cyclo micro is a clone of the supercard. Why on earth you would buy an overly expensive fake product is beyond me but I have heard the Supercard firmware should work on it. I don't know what is particularly wrong here though sorry.

It's not fake... It's just a mediocre cart compared to the Supercard.

Well,

I said exactly why I bought it. I didn't know what was good hardware and what wasn't. Would the supercard firmware have more features/updates?

I'm mostly concerned with the patcher, which I guess there isn't much else available, but the Cyclo firmware could clearly be more rich in features than it is.

What's the best way around it? I have to start way at the beginning correct? And then work my way upwards? I understand that it works that way with real supercards too?
