at the end of the firmware update it said you must use the preventGCUpdate launch configuration every boot if you want to prevent GC controller update? what does that mean and how do i do that?

It means game cart controller.

If you launch without preventGCUpdate it will burn the fuse for the game cart, you will then be unable to use original game carts if you downgrade past 4.1 (i think from memory)..

how do i do that? i want to make sure im doing it right and when i played the first game i put on my sd car it wont let me link my nintendo account.
