Themes would be nice nintendo, FREE ONES! I'm sick of looking at boring black background on my home menu. This coming from someone who seen presentation of nintendo and marked it as quality. :ninja:

If you can tell me what rule this post is breaking, I'll do something about it. And just a hint, none of the rules are "All posts must be topics that @CrisFTW and @Osga21 personally agree with and enjoy reading".

I know it isn't breaking any rules, but this is such a low effort post. It's literally a guy complaining that Nintendo hasn't released update 9, even though he has no particular reason to want to update. The update hasn't even been announced yet, why would anyone make such a post? This post has no chance to create any meaningful discussion, the OP won't get anything from it neither will anyone else.
GBATemp hass a rule that states:
When replying to a topic, don't; unless you have something meaningful to say or something that will contribute to the discussion.
This should also be applied to inane posts like these. If the OP had made a posts asking people what they hope Nintendo would include in a future patch or what he wishes to be included I'd give it a pass, but OP is knowingly asking a question that only Nintendo employees can answer and predictably the post has turned into a shitposting fest.

Posts like these drive people away from the forum and detract from posts that are actually useful.

Actually, that rule corresponds to your reply. There's nothing wrong with the thread. If it does turn into a shitposting thread it can be moved to Eof. If you aren't interested in something then just don't click into it. If someone makes a lot of posts that you're not interested in you also have the option to put them in your Ignore list so you don't see any more of their threads or posts. If something is genuinely against the rules (or you think it should be moved), please click Report under the post to let us know about it. Making a reply just adds noise and also doesn't tell us to have a look.

Surely you get up every morning and wonder if firmware 9 is out. I just want to inform you that firmware 9 is still not out.
Are you a bit retarded? Why the heck do you want a new firmware update? If a firmware update appears in the wild, will the devs tell us that already.
