Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn will not boot

I have a Japanese Wii U with Aroma CFW, For the most part I can play any games from any region I want thanks to the region free plugin. I have been trying to get Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn working. Originally I used USB loader GX with a US version of the game.. I would only get a black screen on boot. I then started using UWUVCI for my Wii and Gamecube games so I could use my gamepad as a classic/Gamecube controller. Fire Emblem 10 and only Fire Emblem 10 refuses to work, every other game I try works fine (some input issues with SNK arcade classics but I'll leave that for another day). I tried using a European version of Fire Emblem 10 and that did not work either. I just tried using RegionFrii to convert my EUR iso to JAP and that did not work either, so now I turn to the forums for assistance. Anyone else have issues with Fire Emblem?

You are not alone, I am having the exact same issue. I tried injecting the game in all various ways (different regions, with and without forced classic controller support using teconmoon's wiivc injector and UWUVCI) but nothing worked.

It has to be your japanese console, because FE10 pal is running on my europe console perfectly. Don't know what's up with the japanese consoles. Maybe Nintendo made them more resistant to the western games

Are you using the vWii? Or VC injection? I don't have any issues running it on the vWii.

I use the injection with teconmoon, because I like to play wii and gc games with the gamepad only. The side effect of this method is that the game looks a lot better than on my 55 inch screen
