The game releases in Europe December 5th, GameFaqs changed the US release date to "TBA 2009". If there's any decency left in Nintendo the European version will be multilingual and have English as an option.

The team has ceased all plans to translate the game. Just enjoy what you have now its better than no translation

Every game I buy here in The Netherlands (that's in Europe ofcourse!) has English text. I even hate games that are translated to Dutch (EA likes to do that!)

It's gonna be nice seeing the original story.

One thing I wish the game could have though is the ability to name the games main character like in so many RPGs, or have a tactician like in FE7.

I didnt like being the tactician in Fire emblem 7:Blazing sword

Why? Aside from having a little sprite, a few people talking to you now and then, and a mention in the ending you don't even notice anything.

I was sad that the tactician wasn't a playable character. Because seriously, just having it impact affinities felt pointless. Oh, and gender changes some of the dialogue... Whoopee...

Umm...The game got an official localization...this translation project is as good as nothing now.
