Fire Emblem DS Announced

Not much details given.. Nintendo announced Fire Emblem DS today.. that's it. Makes me very happy.

Its a surprise to me as the developers said that they had no interest in a DS game. I hope its the still Intelligent Systems who are making it though.

I also hope that theres something new in the game other than touchscreen control. Online and co-op mode would be great.

Awesome news, although I wish they hadn't gone all Donkey Kong Country with the graphics.

The GBA FE's just have a great artistic flare (thanks to the animations) that I fear might get lost with this new look.

Christ first Advance Wars DS 2 look is messed up and now FE DS! They really lack a certain flair.

I must admit, it does look a bit odd. I'd like to see it in motion before I judge.
The thing that impressed me the most about the GBA ones was the awesome animations. If they keep that, then I'm already sold.

wow, its about time they made it on the DS. I loved all of them on the GBA and the new graphics looking pretty cool, better then the originals i reckon

Gonintendo have done comparisons of the screenshots. The first is the first NES game, followed by the SNES version and then the new DS game.

Yes its yet another remake from Nintendo! But at least its a game thats not been released over here.
