Last week I wanted to play online after about two years, but when It searches for other players it finds no one. I heard that Nintendo has shut down the network everywhere except for EU NA and Japan. I'm not in those 3 regions but my Nintendo network id country is Germany and I can access eshop downloading games and updates I just have no online multiplayer features. Does Nintendo detect the location regardless of Nintendo network id country?

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)+1 -

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
