Hacking finally some real progress

As of today hacker neimod have claimed to have taken full control over the 3ds system via kernal mode, we dont know the extent what this allows us to do yet but what we have been told is that they have already taken over and removed the region lock. This is the biggest milestone yet and now working homebrew 3ds roms should be here soon

The original GBAtemp thread originally cited a IRC log, which has been confirmed by multiple users, but I have yet to see any hard evidence the user in question was actually neimod, and that the conversation actually took place.
The 3DSBrew wiki was updated at some point by an unregistered user named "Josephvb10" to have this in the news section, but neimod soon after removed the news entry himself, and I suspect that the source of the news was again the original GBAtemp thread.
People really need to check their sources.
