Hacking Finally migrating from SX to AMS and I have some questions

So after finding out that you can't downgrade games made by more recent SDKs, I'm finally preparing to switch. To avoid any trouble, I'm going to post what I'm about to do step by step. If there are any mistakes, please tell me

First things first, my SD is formatted to exFAT. Can this cause any trouble?

I'm going to backup all of my SD content and Switch's internal memory too in case I ever want to go back to good old XCI loading

I'm going to download AMS from official github and use https://sx-boot-dat-creator.herokuapp.com/ to create boot.dat that loads the AMS so I can at least keep using the dongle.

Then I'll remove any SX related stuff from SD and put AMS in there

Then I get sigpatches from ITotalJustice github

Check out if everything works, and if yes, use ChoiDujourNX to update HOS to 13.2.0


Is there something wrong with this plan or any caveats I should watch out for?

I was use "sx os emunand on file" with switch's SD card


Not hide - partition


So dual boot sx os and ams on same sd card basically cant be done


I won't create any hide - partition emunand or emummc



However

Because I want newest game running so i must use 13.0-13.2 firmware


So I need create another 32 GB ams 13.0-13.2 firmware Emummc( just like sx os emunand ) on another SD card right??

If it work

I can just copy my entire SD card emunand to a new SD card

Then I update this new sd card emunand to 13.2?!


This way I can keep one SD card with old sx os ( with all the save/ game / cheat )


Then Migrate sx os emunand 13.2 to ams emummc on new SD card?


I will get 13.2 running on ams

And all the game needs to be reinstall?!


All the save / cheat no longer can be use?!

I use sx os emunand 10-11.0


So once I updated 13.2 firmware on SD card sx os will unable to boot


Then I put all the file from " https://rentry.org/mys8q " said to SD card


I get 13.2 running after use hekate migrate this emunand to emummc?


Right?



All the game/ save locate on old sx os cfw 10-11.0 etc will be gone once I use ams? Right?!

I recommend using All-in-one updater further to update ... everything. CFW, sigpathes.

NoExfat, exfat is evil.

Otherwise, I think it should fly.

format fat32, exfat will corrupt eventually.
dl latest atmosphere, fusee.bin, hekate, sigpatches. drag sigpatches to sd after atmosphere not before.

Unless your banned, best to update in stock ofw via nintendos servers, re enter rcm, and continue your cfw journey. then from then on, use tegraexplorer to dump fw, and daybreak to update your offline emunand.

ChoiDujourNX hasn't been updated on a While and could lead to a Damaged NAND for FW 10 or newers

Daybreak is an offline updater, you need to copy the Firmware files to the SD card.

Is there any particular reason to not use ChoiDujourNX? I don't use EmuNAND at all and I don't have any way of connecting my Switch to the internet (don't have Wi-Fi)

Its closed-source and doesn't support the newer Switch units.
