The game has an anti-cheat system. You have to active cheats only when you are in the save menu (when you choose save "block" and there are Japanese lines)

Ah brilliant. It works splendidly. Until now, some codes from the japanese version I tested turned out fine. There's a lot codes I haven't tested yet but I believe they will work well. I will continue to test

Square wouldn't use Sky & Co's translation work.
Before Sky even begun considering the project, there were already reports that the English dubbing for the game was finished.
Which means that the translation was mostly/fully complete on paper.
Tabata confirmed elsewhere in the Ultimania 2011 book, and then a TGS 2013 interview that, YES, they had a working English PSP build. With additions even.

So, after a catastrophic disaster in which my merged Final Fantasy Type-0 ISO had been deleted even though the compressor did not compress it properly, redownloading the ISOs and merging them once more (the download link I used came packaged with both ISOs), and re-merging and then patching, I've been playing the completed English translation off and on, and have gotten up to where you can first access the World Map and sidequests during your down time, and the game just blew me away. A World Map? Actual sidequests? Random encounters on the world map?! These kinds of features in a modern Final Fantasy game, and an Action RPG at that, was astounding, and at some points, it felt like how the Final Fantasy games used to feel like, but with real-time combat. I can definitely see why they needed 2 UMDs for this game, as this is probably the biggest PSP game in the library. It saddens me that this never got an official translation, and even that the HD remake is limited to the PS4 and the Xbox One.

(Also, Off-topic, but isn't it a strange coincidence that they'd announce an HD remake merely two days after the fan translation was complete?)

You have some major problems the .net 2.0 must be installed for both installers and sounds to me like something is disabling it

Hey so I'm trying to run hacks aw well. Even though I almost completed the game I decided to restart in English. I'm going over my cheat.db and notice I had a disc 1 and disc 2, although when I get into cwcheats I think it just recognizes which "disk" im using. I saw Sky's post, is that something we can use for the merged ISO?

Now my main question is, my previous experience modifiers would freeze the game, however other cheats worked. I just want to be able to upgrade my soljas XP faster. Since I'm not good with coding I inserted this:

_C0 EXP MULTIPLIER x4

_C0 EXP MULTIPLIER x8

I apologize if this has been asked, but has anyone been successful in getting the English-patched ISO to work on a CFW PS3?
I tried running the english ISO on my Rogero 4.46 w/ Cobra CFW, but the ISO boots into a black screen.
This same ISO works fine on the PC, PSP, and even Vita.
I have not tried to run a Remastered version or Mini version

You don't need to do point 8 if you aren't hacking in items or equipment.

Given that Type-0 has an anti-cheating system, I don't think this will work, unless they just multiply whatever your current exp levels are. Basically a one-time modification of your data, like putting items into your inventory.
