I did mentioned in a thread that was deleted by the failmod a week ago in GF that GF is not the best site to get up-to-date info regarding Type-0's translation.
But you know GFers, not many get out much or can read the context of what is being said.
That was the point lol. Anyway yeah, a lot of bugs, text polishing, overlapping, crashes, font styles... You never know how right or wrong a translation looks until the betatest phase xD. But I gotta say I'm very happy with how it's looking so far.

I just went to gamefaq to see what was all of this about and... wow. Just wow.
This just brings historical revisionism to a whole another level, no, dimension.
And I finally got the answer for the mystery that was a certain someone here who was bitching about a font and then after♥some♦avatar♣changes♠ he was trying to breed distrust between members/friends of the team. Add to that the ones denying the existence of the patch altogether.
Seems like a family reunion there of a bunch of Hokuto no Ken villains in a deserted wasteland where even the crickets are dead from radiation/boredom.
But, why would you even bother and go to that shithole?
Let them live in their stone age, they don't deserve any of you honoring them with a visit or a reply.
I posted a walkthrough there once, and I'm regretting it now I see what that place is really about.

I hope Sky delays the translation indefinitely after reading threads like this... like i've always said, we do NOT deserve any localization for this game.
I feel really, really sorry for TC and whoever is silently waiting for the translation.
Maybe if people wouldn't lie about fake translations SE would have localized it.

Apparently the host got a cease and desist notice from SE so it had to be shut down, and shortly after the project was officially cancelled.

Going from previous posts here, it seems that particular troll admitted elsewhere he wants to harass Sky about the project, with the logical outcome being of course Sky pulling a translation from his magical cape and sending it to his Excellence as a proof! Tsundere-type troll about the project, if you like to put it that way.
Admitting he follows a semi-predictable pattern at all.
What's more fascinating is the fact that GF mods are accomplices.
That place's ill reputation is well justified. Maybe useful for only some niche games, and then again there are better places (or you can just learn Japanese and find a wealth of info
).Generally put though, a troll is a self-centered loser that doesn't want other people to succeed or surpass him.
It's a good example for a bigger theory about paradigms or something.

I honestly was just exaggerating when I said that. I hate the mods at GF a whole, whole lot, but I don't actually believe there's a widespread conspiracy. That they don't mod people for trolling but do for other infractions is SOP there. So the dude trolling the board there is probably just one dude who needs attention.
Umm... actually, from what I saw, his posts would be perfectly an infraction of the SOP since he is (under his multiple personas) also mentioning the translation, the website names and such other things liberally, yet no action was taken against him, out of all people.
It's more like a censorship to allow only one single opinion that denies an information confirmed by lots of other gaming sites ("a translation, somehow, somewhere, is worked on by fans"). I'm not really saying this out of some persecution complex/conspiracy theory, but it looks like and is effectively a curious info embargo indeed...
Since I had at one point a translation thread for a DS game there, and I still see the ones for the SaGa games and Ys 5 and even Zwei 2, and there are ones for various PSP games like the Level-5 games, and that Digimon game. This sudden zeal is surprising, put in perspective. It's really hard not to conclude some mod is involved in that flame war, if only for the "selective" policy.
That's not really saying there haven't been other cases: there's Project M and a translation I can't remember that got its thread (the main hub for the project) killed.
Anyways. This is one more reason why it's for the best to avoid that site, period.

The troll, "Peke_kun," has posted in pretty much every thread about the project. The thread with Sky's trolling response was

but there are a bunch of threads about the patch on that board. It's probably the most popular topic right now, for obvious reasons, although most of the "dedicated" threads have been closed by mods and/or had many posts deleted. So you can probably find that same guy trolling in many other threads.
Peke_kun seemingly just wants attention, though. It seems odd that he'd troll a relatively small fanbase for such a reason, though, so it wouldn't be surprising if he was trying to get an in progress patch from a tester/team member as "proof."
