Stupid question, if it comes as a PSN title, can it still be pirated and played via CFW? x_x
Depends.
I'm thinking Sony will be changing the way PSN works for PSPs in time for the Vita. (encryption, keys and all that stuff)

(Also this is why we can't have nice things).

PSP sales are piss poor.QUOTE(KirbyBoy @ Jun 15 2011, 12:36 PM) Oh well, even if it doesn't get a western release, someone is bound to fantranslate it.

Even then remember it's a 2 UMD title and that's probably why it won't be put up on PSN.

Yes, but people will also pirate it.

Not necessarily. I hate when people say these things, you can't rely on fantranslators for every single game people want to play in whatever language they want because they don't know the one the game is actually released in.
People could start learning a language for a change.

It didn't stop them localizing Birth by Sleep and Dissidia and various other Square Enix titles

@Goli Western audiences aren't the only people who pirate

I know that, I didn't say they have to transtate, it's just that someone may translate it, I don't rely on them, I could happily play it in a another language with no problems, I have before, they probably have better things to do anyway. And I do plan on learning it when I get older.

Yeah but the PSP is now dead-er than when BbS or Dissidia were released. Add to that the fact that you can hack pretty much any PSP, and it doesn't look good.
And I know western audiences aren't the only ones who pirate (in fact I never said they were), but think that when SE localises a game they have to invest money on that, and why invest on something that might end up getting bought by few and pirated by many? And while it'll probably get pirated in Japan too, the majority of the sales will still come from it.

Chances are people are going to WANT to see this localized. So people are going to be unhappy if they decide not to localize it. Hopefully, SE is a company that listens to its fanbase. (which they usually do)

Chances are 70% of the people wanting it localized will pirate it.

Hello news, for more on the interview read the link. For skilled action players, the game will have fighting game-like features like movement canceling.

The game's loading screen shows user data. This will also show the player data of Square Enix Members.

At save points, you can change your current party characters and also set your equipment.

The game's main characters are from your school's "Class Zero." Students from other classes will also team up with you for missions. They have different colored cloaks.

Nomura said that Square Enix is currently looking into a download version and overseas version of the game.

There will be weather-related changes. Weapons will change in strength and firing range depending on weather. Amongst summons, Shiva will be stronger in the snow.[/p]Source

There is a 100% chance if this gets localized, SE Members data will not show at the loading screens.
Edit: ;___; The first post looks so ugly on a netbook screen.

The game's 80% complete and it might get delayed to fall (what a surprise).
They have already said they are delaying it.

Said in the interview, PSN outage was the cause of some of the delay since they can't work on multiplayer without it.
Multiplayer seems Peace Walker-ish to me.

They'll probably just remove all SE Members allusions altogether like they did in T3B and DDFF.
Also, I HATE YOU SONY HACKERS. Even more now.

I just hope this isn't anything like Crisis Core. It will be disappointing if a game in development for all these years turned out to be only half baked.

The tweet says Famitsu has new Type-0 information regarding characters.
Andriasang and/or Sokuhou@Houkanko will most likely have all the details soon, can't wait!
