Great links, the game looks promising.

A little VVoltz Trivia: this is actually the one and only Final Fantasy I have finished from start to end. Yes I know I'm pathetic.

This is pretty old news, but thanks for posting either way. I don't think I've seen that first scan before.

I think this is my second favorite Final Fantasy (My first being Final Fantasy VI, Edgar rocks). I don't remember beating this game either, I remember getting to the final boss but I don't remember actually beating him

I would look forward to it but FFIII was crap. You know a game has failed when you a hoping to God that you can just walk and not get into another random battle.

I'm not much better. I got 1,4, and 10 completed, and I'm working on 3.

On topic though, this pretty much opens the window to have all the FFs remade on the ds huh? (1-6 at least)

That crossed my mind the moment they announced this beast.
Like the "Advance" remakes will see plenty of adventures on the DS I bet.
I guess a FF6 3D remake would be really good, I've been told is one of the most memorable ones.

Memorable ones...

Esp Kefka, gwa ha ha ha ha and then the Kefka Theme Starts...
oooo good memories baaaaack then on the SNES days. Speaking of FF6.. ooo gotta love the glitches to get all the items... or screw up the save file.

It'll be so nice for it to be made into 3D ish =P All those silly characters in Chibi 3D Models... hmm Ultros... Octopus Soup =P Still haven't finish my GBA version of FF6, too many games to play these days.

That's not the remake's fault.. the original FF3 sux! I got really disappointed by the job system. :/

I hope they also remake FFV, it's by far my favorite FF

I can't wait for this release of 4 at all, and that 1st SCAN actually was something new as I've been paying attention and just scan two with the big octopus on it was the original from like at least a month ago.

Meh.
How the hell can they keep up this speed ?
I mean look at all these great 3d games for ds. Oo
They sure need a lot of 3d modellers and co.

Looks great.
I hope it will be better than the other ones through because I didn't find them that funny.

JPN / USA
FF1 = FF1
FF2 =
FF3 =
FF4 = FF2
FF5 =
FF6 = FF3
FF7 = FF7

I really hated the job system in FFIII, so I hope I like this one better.
I already played the original and the Advance version.

^^That reason though makes no sense.

FF4 was far more engaging and immersive, made you constantly feel something for those in and out of the party. FF7 had just a generic story with some very deep but not many moments (such as the death scene.)

I finished 1,2,4,6,7... I still haven't got 3 in my possession, even tho I played it a bit on my flashcart. Got 5 and 6 incoming. will by the 4 3d remake.
Haven't gotten into 8,9 any.. 10 and 12 requires me to own a ps2
biggrin.gif
which I don't own
tongue.gif
(yet)
I finished 7 on PC
wink.gif
will play 8 and 9 sometime in my life either on emu or on a ps2 if I ever get one.

I must say I enjoyed Final Fantasy 6 and 7 most of those I've finished. Even tho Dawn of Souls was awefully fun. 4 was pretty cool, but the last boss was a bit too tough

Required grinding, whilst nothing else in the game did.

    I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
    BakerMan @ BakerMan: idk how hot of a take this is, but science as a subject sucks
