The game's rather amazing, it's a great, proper Remake and an example for other remakers to follow. Obviously the iPhone has more resources than the poor old DS, thus the game looks better.

No Xperia Play support at all? Or just no gamepad support? The store claims it works on my two year old device with a slow processor and almost nonexistent GPU, so it seems like the Xperia Play shouldn't have any trouble with it.

Its a turn based RPG so I really doubt a touchscreen is going to ruin the experience.

Errrr no ff1 or ff2. On the upside it is compatible even with a cm-ed ad_free version of Nook color and Nook tablet.

yes it was, it has much more content than the nes version and it's heavily modified (like giving background story about the characters rather than just putting them into the cave together like that)

Gamepad support. It should have it too, that or touch guidance (tap here to go there kind if thing)
