You're welcolme ^^ I'm happy it is working =D Some scene might be wierd because they're talking in japanese and some sentence in english, that's not a glitch that's because PAL and US version added new text so japanese voice don't exist for this ^^'

There's a lot more misdubs than I thought there would be. Not just that there are English voices in certain parts of the game, but they have random voices that doesn't match the characters for a lot of scenes. Weird.

Yes me too I thought that there would be less english voices ^^' but when the perfect edition of dissidia will be out in japan, a new patch will be out then they will have no more english voices ^^

It outs with english voices in Japan, like KH final mix+ or FF International. SE loves this shit. >_

It would've been better if for the parts where there are no Japanese dialogue, they would just use the English. But instead, you get random cuts of Japanese dialogue to random characters. It's trippy when Exdeath sounds like a girl, haha.

No offense to the guy who made this but what is the point in this?

I know you guys say (and you are probably right) that Japanese voices 'fit' the characters a lot more but wouldn't you rather be able to understand what they are saying over some foreign chit chat?

I mean half of you guys don't even understsand Japanese and yet you would prefer that over ENGLISH? I dont see ANY logic in that at all if you ask me

And when you say the Japanese voices 'fit' the FF characters what does that even mean?
Are all FF characters Japanese or are they all required to speak fluent japanese or something (hilarious requirement if you ask me xD)

I played US Dissidia for just over 40 hours now and I am used to all the characters speaking in English I dont see what the big deal is with the undub thats all.

One funny thing is that you guys think US voice actors are shitty compared to Japanese ones but in Japan, a lot of people still criticise their own voice actors for their inadequacy.

I do understand japanese that's why I'm using it ^^ Many people prefer english voices than japanese ones too =) It is just depending on what people prefer ^^

Thanks alot for your work I hate how they always screw over with the english voices and Japanese VO are so much better.

English voices are complete shit if we go back to the end 80s-begin90s and take a look like the cartoon series of X-men and Transformers for example voicing in those were just awesome, you don't see such great voice actors anymore these days.

Japanese say the same thing to their own voice actors. I suppose its just preference.
If you played Soul Calibur BD, you would know that Kratos' japanese voice sucks balls
Japanese voices are not always the best choice even if they do make the games

Imagine Gordon Freeman speaking fluent Japanese. nuh uh.

But I know what you mean. PSP Valkyrie Lenneth US had the worst voice acting I have ever heard in my life.

Well, complete shit wasn't the right word the voice acting in Disgaea is done well and better than the Japanese ones. But as for Dissidia and Crisis Core Japanese outperforms the English ones, but yet theres occasions where English voices are better than Japanese, just happens in most (J)RPG games Japanese seem to be more fitting than English, but not all of them like Disgaea.

Grandia 3 is better left Japanese also

As the previous user said, does anyone have this patch file and can provide a new link please? Yes, its an old thread, but asking doesnt hurt.

Hi there,
The link is down, can anyone provide a new one?

Thank you.

I couldn't find the patch files either, but in my opinion, good riddance! As you can see, the patching process is very involved and the creator says success is quite hit-and-miss:

There is a pre-patched Birth By Sleep Final Mix that's easy to find out on the interwebz. (Which is essentially a like an undubbed English release)

Sephizack's undubbed USA/PAL pre-patched is harder to find. But there are torrents out there with it. I likely can't post direct links to any such sources, but you may PM me if you still can't get your hands on a copy.
