Before I pass out once again I figure a new thread is in order. As the title says film (I will also go TV series but try and keep bitching about cancellation of said shows to a minimum) that was panned by critics be they professional or otherwise that you liked.
IMDB links/similar if possible please.
If you like it might be interesting to have a film you hated but everyone else adores for some reason that would also be interesting.
Basically I havecome to the conclusion had my thoughts reaffirmed that most critics are idiots and few search engines offer anything other than by rating which means I have "run out" of films to watch bar the bottom of the barrel stuff I have kicking around as rainy day films.
Normally I would reel of a list of my own in an attempt to kickstart such a thread but I have a feeling it will read as last 10 low(ish) budget horror films/shameless ripoffs my sleep deprived and thus puerile mind found amusing.
Dying God- 2.6 on IMDB:

A textbook lesson in how to make a cheesy film (a corrupt cop who plays by his own rules, a monster, some murders, shootouts) and about as close as you get to a grindhouse film without actually going back in time. I say go Argentinian film industry.
This is not the first time I have suggested this film around these parts so I will go again.
Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God. 4.9 on IMDB (given most films struggle to lower than a high 6 there)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0406728/
It might just be that I am a sucker for fantasy themed stuff but for me it ticked all the boxes for what a fantasy film should do and I have most certainly sat through far worse in the pursuit of some fantasy themed entertainment, granted like a lot of such things I thought it would make a better short series than a film.
Film I disliked:
The Departed. 8.5 courtesy of a over two hundred thousand votes.

If there is a "complex" crime story making up a film/TV series you can bet I will be there at some point. However when compared to Infernal Affairs (the film series it was based on: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/ ) how anyone can describe it as anything other than limp escapes me. I will however reserve the right to pass judgement again when I rewatch Infernal Affairs having finished The Wire several months ago.
