FIFA or PES?

On the HD consoles, FIFA all the way. PES has declined since the PS2 whilst FIFA have improved.

Back in the good old days of the PS2 - PES by far. Now, FIFA is much better, although each year PES does get closer.

In the PES 3(or was it 2?) era the PES was better than FIFA.
But later in the years, Fifa has been on top of them.
PES has licensing issues if I remember correctly?
Logos, brands, etc arent official ones?

i personally love pes as i played it back from 2002 if im not wrong was pes03
but i have to admit pes from 2006 to 2010 sucks and fifa was like cool compared to pes,but the last one was just awesome *-*
so all way pes the habits are hard to kill

This is why PES is better imo:
Master League is way better that the crappy FIFA manager mode
The AI is acctually tough... FIFA is too easy
better graphics
Different types of shots like the knuckle shot(Not yet seen in FIFA)
Master League is more challenging that Ultimate Team
Really huge patching community for new player faces, boots, kits, transfers, stadiums, balls etc
more skills to beat defenders
Option files fix the licencing
Commentary patches
feels more smooth
UEFA Chapions league, super cup, europa leage
Option files gives PES Barclays PL, Liga bBVA, Seria a, FIFA world cup and everything fifa has
Overall more challenging game
Oh yeah and you can continue to use your old master league data when a new version is out

Recently FIFA. Only on Wii I still like PES a lot more.

I don't like the Master League that much, I just don't get the same addiction as I have with Manager mode.

What online problems.... I never had any? Also gameplay is way more smooth and responsive in PES, you actually can choose where you pass unlike FIFA where it magically finds a player

I'm not a sports game fan, but I have played both and found FIFA to be more fun.

Football games bore me to tears and always have. This might be because football in general bores me to tears.

Someone will have to explain the appeal of licensing though.

Still it is all about sensible soccer- it it not like football games have changed all that much in..... ever.
