In my opinion, it sure is. A lot of monster catching, boss battles, crafting, ressource-collecting, hunting, etc.For those that have played it, is the game fun? I'm intrigued, but I've heard mixed feedback on Palworld's gameplay.
Thanks for the response. What kind of battle system does it have? Is it JRPG, or is it realtime combat? In my opinion, it sure is. A lot of monster catching, boss battles, crafting, ressource-collecting, hunting, etc.
The story is not "predominant" in there, but afaik, there will be more lore in v1.0. There is also a couple of side missions they added in the few latest updates.
If you were into Pokemon but felt like it lacked of gameplay improvement over time, or that it felt "not adult" enough, I suggest you give it a try.

Real time, open world, with some dungeon system with bosses and ressources. You can control some pals, but for the most parts, you control your humanThanks for the response. What kind of battle system does it have? Is it JRPG, or is it realtime combat?
Ha, that's interesting. Thanks again. I know I had looked up some gameplay footage, but I didn't remember seeing any combat.Real time, open world, with some dungeon system with bosses and ressources. You can control some pals, but for the most parts, you control your human
I'm not much into open world or survival games nor Pokemon but I really got addicted on Palworld for a while. Haven't touched since but still. If mixing these concepts seems like a cool idea to you, then it might be worth checking it out.For those that have played it, is the game fun? Last trailer before the release in few hours

They recently revealed that the patch notes were a 27-pages pdf file. What will be possible, what will not be possible. No idea, but there will be A LOT coming.Gonna start over when it releases, but won't really get into it until after I come back from vacation (leaving next week). But, looking at that trailer, I get the feeling they are continuing to do what they've done from the beginning. Present a number of aspects in the trailer that won't actually be possible in the game. Like, any scene in the trailer that doesn't show the typical UI elements can't really be trusted for gameplay accuracy, imo.

I'm sure there is. It's a big reason they recommend people start over when they release it. But I'm not expecting anything drastically different from the core gameplay, which from the trailer where you know it's gameplay, seems the same as before. Maybe it's full of balancing changes. Maybe they added an actual story with progression. They recently revealed that the patch notes were a 27-pages pdf file. What will be possible, what will not be possible. Nevertheless, their method for how their trailers are constructed has not changed one bit, and have always shown off things that never come to fruition, because it's just that easy to create a cinematic with a engine like UE that "looks" like gameplay, but is purely scripted for the cinematic.
