It's much better than the last one, much smoother. It plays like the last one but the commentary is annoying sometimes. Just lost a game to penalty shootouts (5-6).

If he's comparing it to the console versions, then no.

I've always found the FIFA games on the DS to be quite fun, and from what I've played of '09 thus far, I'd say it's easily the best FIFA yet. The squads are a little out of date (why they can't wait a few more weeks until the transfer window shuts, I'll never know), but you can make the changes yourself if you want everything almost perfect.

I'd recommend it.

The squads can be updated. Just go to WiFi and download the latest patch.
