Don't I have to back anything up though? Like the Nintendo 3DS folder?
No. Becuase at the moment, both your Sysnand and Emunand are using that one folder with the random numbers. If you format emunand, another random numbers folder will be generated solely for the emunand you just formatted.

When I go to Format System MEmory, it says stuff on the SD card will be erased.
That's alright?

When you see format, take out the SD card then, and only then, click on format. You can put in the SD card again after the format.

Alright and after I format, do I just do the update normally? And then what do I do from that point after my 3DS restarts?

It will reboot you back into your 9.2 sysnand. Then you can boot back into emunand and check it successfully did the update.

Just make sure before you update, you see the RX-E in the bottom-right corner of the settings screen!!

Huh that's weird.
Everytime I take out my SD card and hit format it says with a black screen that the SD card has been removed.
It didn't do this before...

Are you taking out the SD card as soon as you see the final confirmation to format? Because that's what you should be doing.

Okay I can't get this working. What do I do in TinyFormat exactly?
I've never actually tried it myself. I just thought it'd be a straightforward utility to format your emunand with ease. :/

I'll take a look at it when I get the chance.

Nevermind, I formatted. Okay now what do I do? Boot back into emunand and go to update?
