Gaming FFVIII on PSP

Recently, I was play FFVIII on PSP when I encountered this issue, at the end of disk 1, the game will hang at the FMV transitions from the parade to Zell's feet.
Also, when saving, there's a short lag before the game resumes. Doesn't happen often.
PSP is on CFW Pro 6.61
