Gaming FFCC RoF Wi-Fi?

hi!
so I'm getting a ds (again) today, and my cousin is getting one too... is it possible to play this title with people who are far away,
or do you have to sit in the same room to play the multiplayer?

I haven't played either multiplayer mode, but I think wifi is just for trading moogles/items, and the actual co-op mode requires local multiplayer.

This is correct. You unfortunately cannot play co-op over wi-fi.

Shame too, because it would have made the game awesome.

I believe the only English-language wifi-enabled RPG for the DS is Dungeon Explorer. I've never actually tried its wifi mode myself, though, I just know it's there.

It's really annoying, because we've got a ton of fairly decent Diablo-style dungeon games... but none of them, except Dungeon Explorer, use wifi (and Dungeon Explorer is only so-so otherwise.) What a pity.
