I'm currently playing FF2 Anniversary Edition (JPN ver.) on my PSP (ISO+CFW), and I fooled around a bit using some cheats with cwcheat and a Japanese mod the other night. I did not save the game with any cheats on so I thought it would have no effect on my file, but last night I found that I could no longer soft reset (Start+Select+shoulder buttons) anymore. When I try, the screen just goes black and stays that way until I turn the system off. The same is true not just for that file but every FF2 save file.
I can still soft reset in other games like FF1, so it does not appear to be a problem with the PSP itself. I'm guessing it's a problem with the save data, but I've tried searching and can't find any information on what specifically caused it or how to fix it.
