Hacking FF MLAK Downloadable Content

How does using the FF MLAK wad work with downloadable content?

Is there any way to add content via wad etc, or are there any issues purchasing the content without having downloaded the game?

You can download content with an installed wad though it would obviously stand out like a sore thumb if nintendo checked logs and saw you never actually bought the game yet you are there buying dlc. I recommend you just find one of the wad's that already has the DLC included and unlocked

What happens if they issue more content?

I know the save is a separate file..but has anyone tried changing releases...save game still works?

I'm in 80 days or so and don't want to lose it.

I have, save file still works fine. Just back up the save, use the wad uninstaller, install the new one and put back the save file. Easy peasy.
